A resolution from the Spanish Congress speaker will allow Catalan to be spoken in the next plenary session. Catalan will be spoken in the next plenary session on September 19. Spanish Congress speaker Francina Armengol has passed a resolution to allow Spanish co-official languages, such as Catalan, Basque, and Galician, to be spoken in the chamber.
