13-Dec-23: 'Catalonia celebrates centenary of birth of Antoni Tàpies'
Today marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of revered Catalan artist Antoni Tàpies. The Antoni Tàpies Foundation kicked off its Tàpies Year today with two new exhibitions at its museum in Barcelona. One looks at the artist’s relationship with Zen Buddhism, and the other examines his fascination with science and art.
