03-Jul-23: '€914m deal reached to improve Catalan highways'
The Catalan and Spanish governments have reached a deal worth almost 1 billion euro to extend the B-40 highway. The highway expansion was part of the Socialists' deal with governing Esquerra to pass the 2023 Catalan budget. The road will now connect Sabadell and Terrassa. The 914 million euro investment also foresees improvement works in other highways and a transit link between train stations in Sant Cugat.
