New photos show FC Barcelona's Spotify Camp Nou from the skies
Construction of Barça's home continues ahead of next season

FC Barcelona has been working on refurbishing the Spotify Camp Nou since works began in 2022.
Intending to move back from the Olympic Stadium to its home stadium, Barça unveiled new pictures of the field from the sky.

FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently announced that the club will test the field during the Gamper friendly match in August 2025. In an interview with Catalan television station TV3, Laporta said that Barça will host their annual summer game in the new Spotify Camp Nou on August 8 or 9.
This will serve as a pilot test before official competitive games can be played there.

However, Barça is planning to play its first games of the next season away from home because the Camp Nou is unlikely to be ready to host competitive matches until September or October 2025.
The team is focusing on three key areas: construction of the third tier, installation of VIP seating in the first tier, and preparation of access points for spectators. Currently, the club reports that work on the first and second tiers, as well as the VIP seating and third tier, continues as scheduled.

The field has been laid out, and the white lines have been painted to mark the boundaries.
Temporary 360° scaffolding is being installed to support lighting, cameras, Wi-Fi, and other essential systems that will be used on game days until the new stadium roof is finished.
