FC Barcelona partners with the Kobe Bryant brand for new away kit

FC Barcelona's new away kit for the 2025/26 season partners up with the Kobe Bryant brand, under the umbrella of Nike.

The 'Kobe Sheath' logo of the NBA legend's label will replace the famous Nike 'swoosh' in a collaboration that will run for the next three seasons.

A statement from the Catalan club explains that the brand collaboration is "born out of a shared culture of sporting excellence," characterised by Kobe Bryant and the blaugrana. 

"The relationship between Barça and Kobe Bryant stretches back a long way," the club statement continues. "The NBA star was a supporter of the Club, and on many occasions, he could be found with Club members and the first team players, both in his visits to Barcelona and during the squad’s trips to the US."

The kit was presented on Tuesday with a video featuring various Barça players taking part in a 'rondo' training exercise. The video stars Alejandro Balde, Alexia Putellas, Claudia Pina, Gavi, Ewa Pajor, Frenkie de Jong, Patri Guijarro, and Salma Paralluelo.

The Barça 2025/26 jersey is designed in a clear Team Gold colour with touches of Persian violet and black, inspired by the classic colours of the teams in which Kobe played.

The Kobe Sheath bears a snakeskin texture treatment in silicone 3D relief, also applied to the Barça crest on the shirt.

The shorts are black with Persian violet details.
