FC Barcelona Camp Nou return date confirmed: August 10 for Gamper Trophy game
Stadium will be partially open while construction continues over the next few years

FC Barcelona have announced their official return to the Spotify Camp Nou stadium.
The Catalan giants will play in their home stadium once again on August 10, 2025, a date which the club says will be "a milestone that will mark the partial reopening of the Club’s new home as part of the wider Espai Barça transformation project."
The return will be for the Joan Gamper Trophy game, a special annual pre-season event for Barça, with more details to be announced soon.

"This comeback represents a historic moment for the club and its supporters," a statement from Barça reads. "After more than two years of major renovations and a temporary relocation to the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, Barça will once again feel the thrill of football in its legendary temple, in the heart of Les Corts. It’s important to note, however, that this return will happen while construction work continues in various areas of the stadium."
"Remaining works include the completion of the new third tier, the dual VIP ring, the roof installation, and the final touches to various interior spaces, as well as the urban development of the stadium’s surrounding area. During this period, the Club will strive to ensure the highest level of comfort for members, fans, and visitors to the Spotify Camp Nou, facilitating access and adapting services to offer the best possible experience."

The club have launched a new campaign under the slogan “Tornem a casa, vibrem”.
The official statement concludes: "With this return, FC Barcelona takes a symbolic and emotional step into the future, reclaiming its home in a new era that will culminate with the complete inauguration of the new stadium. It’s a chance to feel again, to vibrate together again, and to continue building the Barça of tomorrow."
