Some 50 roads disrupted across Catalonia due to snowstorm
AP-7 highway reopens in Martorell four days after train crash, some partial closures remain

Some 50 roads were disrupted on Saturday across Catalonia due to the snowstorm that was sweeping parts of the country during the day, according to the road traffic authority (SCT).
Civil Protection authorities have issued a phone emergency alert in five counties: Solsonès, Moianès, Berguedà, Cerdanya and Ripollès. Residents were advised to restrict mobility, to check the road traffic official information before traveling, and to appropriately equip their vehicles.
The snow, which was falling heavily above 500 to 600 meters, restricted the circulation of heavy trucks on the A-2 highway along a 60-kilometer stretch between El Bruc (Anoia) and Tàrrega.
At the same time, chains were required on around thirty roads in the Lleida and Girona regions, such as the C-462 from Olius to La Seu d’Urgell, passing through Coll de Port; the C-28 at Port de la Bonaigua; the N-260 at Port del Cantó, Collada de Toses, and Coll de la Creu de Perves; the C-147 from Llavorsí to Esterri d’Àneu; the N-141 at Coll del Portilló; and the L-401 between Coll de Nargó and Guixers via Coll de Jou.
Partial reopening of highway after train deadly crash
Elsewhere, one southbound lane of the AP-7 highway at Martorell reopened this Saturday from 2pm, authorities announced.
This happened over three days after that segment of the road closed following the disruption caused by the Gelida rail accident.
The other two lanes will remain closed for repairs.
