Rodalies commuter and regional trains to partially resume on Monday
R1, R2 and R4 lines to operate after almost a week of major disruptions, service will be free for a month

Rodalies commuter and regional trains will partially resume on Monday after almost a week of major disruptions and cancelations.
The network will be up and running once again but only partially –R1, R2 and R4 commuter lines will run again but just partially, and others such as R7 will have to wait more time until the maintenance works underway after the storm last week come to an end.
The Catalan government explained that authorities intend that 95% of the users have train service on Monday.
R1 will not run between Blanes and Maçanet, R2 will be working normally, R3 will have alternative bus service throughout the whole line, and R4 will have a bus service between Manresa and Terrassa, and between Martorell and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
RL4, between Cervera and Manresa will also have only bus, as well as Vinaixa to Sant Vicenç de Calders on R13. No trains will run between Reus and Vinaixa on R14, and between Reus and Riba-roja d'Ebre on R15 -in both cases, a bus will also provide an alternative to users.
R7, the line connecting Fabra i Puig station in Barcelona with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) will not be running either.
Territory minister Sílvia Paneque said on Sunday that safety conditions are enough to run trains again, and that using Rodalies service will be free for a whole month as a way to compensate users.
Almost a week of severe disruptions
Services were suspended throughout Wednesday and Thursday following a fatal accident on Tuesday evening in Gelida. An R4 line train crashed, killing one driver and injuring dozens of passengers. Early on Friday, the commuter rail network began progressively restoring train services across all lines, but a landslide in the afternoon between Maçanet-Massanes and Blanes, with no injured, contributed to reconsider the decision and perform more checks.
In the early hours of Saturday, Renfe had stated no service would be available during the day, later in the morning the situation "evolved" and some trains were allowed to run, while with major disruptions, but at 1pm the activity in Catalonia came to a complete halt again, a situation that continued on Sunday.
