Palestinian refugees sue companies involved in the Camp Nou construction project
Workers file for unfair dismissal and labor exploitation

A group of Palestinian refugees have filed five lawsuits against two companies involved in the Camp Nou construction project.
The lawsuits have been filed against two companies, Opportunity of a Lifetime and Rinko, which are accused of unfair dismissals and labor exploitation by the group, who are being advised by the Ronda Collective.
The companies, which have been subcontracted of the Turkish firm Limak, have not yet appeared at prior conciliation meetings, and are now awaiting trial.
The six Palestinian refugees no longer work on the Camp Nou construction site and claim that they were dismissed for complaining about working conditions.
According to media reports, the refugees say they worked marathon days seven days a week, without being paid overtime, and in some cases being paid less than what their payslips stated.
They also claim that one of the men was fired after being injured, and that in other cases, they were told that they no longer had to come back after complaining.
