Organizers of Catalonia–Palestine match call for full stadium to send message of 'hope'
The game in Barcelona's Olympic Stadium will be broadcast live on all Palestinian television channels

The organizers of the upcoming football match between Catalonia and Palestine, set for November 18, have called on the public to fill the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona to send a message of "hope and solidarity" to the Palestinian people.
To build momentum ahead of the event, a community event with a festive and activist spirit was held on Sunday outside Barcelona's Casa Orsola, open to all.
Luca Gervasoni, spokesperson for Act x Palestine, the group organizing the match, acknowledged that filling the Olympic Stadium "will be quite a challenge," but stressed what it would mean for Palestinians.
"The children of war-torn Gaza need all kinds of help, but also hope and dignity," he said.
With just over a week to go, around 20,000 tickets have been sold.
Palestinians will be able to watch the match live on television, with all Palestinian networks broadcasting it.
