One arrested in connection with violent death of 29-year-old woman

Catalan police have arrested one person in connection with the violent death of a 29-year-old woman in Esparreguera, a village north of Barcelona.
No further details of the case have been released to the public as the case is currently under a secrecy order for legal reasons.
The victim was found on Sunday night after a warning of a potential traffic accident was sent. Catalan police and medical emergency services arrived at the scene but were unable to save the woman's life.
Later, however, it was ruled out that the death was the result of a traffic accident, and the case was handed over to the criminal investigation department of law enforcement.
The town of Ódena, where the victim was from, has declared two days of mourning, with flags of the town hall flown at half-mast.
