If you’re interested in what the world will look like in the future, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona is a good starting point. And if you’re even more in a hurry to learn what technologies are likely to come sooner rather than later, Four Years From Now (4YFN) is the place to be.

In its fifth edition, running from February 26 to 28, this exhibit once again brought startups and entrepreneurs together with investors, corporations and public institutions, thus bridging the gap that separates a good idea from becoming reality.

Over half a thousand investors and startups meet

More than 19,000 people are expected to have attended the event, with some 600 startups showing off their latest solutions, and approximately 700 investors looking for the most attractive projects to launch new ventures together. The Catalan government provided space for 32 Catalan startups. Almost 300 speakers were invited to the 4YFN, with 40 different workshops on offer.
