Fire at Roca brothers' Normal restaurant in Girona with no injuries
Only three weeks ago, another fire completely destroyed their restaurant Mas Marroch

A fire broke out on Thursday night in the kitchen of the Roca brothers' Normal restaurant in Girona.
The blaze affected several parts of the kitchen, but there were no injuries and no major damage.
"Nothing severe that cannot be fixed. We will try to reopen as soon as possible. Fire in the kitchen and minor damage," Josep Roca wrote on X.
At the time of the fire, shortly after midnight, the restaurant was already closed.
"We closed earlier than usual, around midnight, because it was a quiet day," Normal restaurant director and chef Eli Nolla said.
Six fire crews attended the scene in the city's Old Quarter after the alarm was raised by the neighbouring bar.
Nearby residents were evacuated to the streets and were unable to return to their homes until around 2.30 am, when firefighters declared the area safe.
The fire comes less than three weeks after another blaze destroyed the Roca brothers' Mas Marroch restaurant in Vilablareix.
Nolla said the team is "a bit in shock" after experiencing two incidents so close together.
"We are very optimistic about this one because the damage is minor and can be resolved quickly," she added, noting that they hope to reopen as soon as possible.
