Spain's National Police arrested 21 people across Spain in connection with disturbances at April's Copa del Rey final in Seville between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Sixteen of those arrested are members of the Barça far-right ultras group Boixos Nois, while the remaining detainees belong to the United Family ultra group from Seville.

Most of the arrests took place in the Barcelona area, with one in Tarragona and another in Girona.

They are accused of public disorder, property damage, and membership in a criminal group.

Some are also facing charges of assaulting law enforcement officers and causing injuries.

The unrest began on Friday night before the match, escalating on Saturday with clashes with police in Seville's Plaza Nueva.

Tensions flared after some Boixos Nois fans made Nazi salutes, leading to violent confrontations involving street furniture and one arrest.

Before entering the stadium, the Boixos Nois also fought with Real Madrid's Ultra Sur.

As a group, the Boixos Nois are officially banned from attending Barça games, although members often bypass the ban by entering individually.

The investigation is ongoing, and further arrests have not been ruled out.
