10 arrested and 19 officers injured after second pro-Palestine march in Barcelona
One person detained for property damage during earlier rally attended by 70,000 demonstrators

Catalan police, the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested ten people following a pro-Palestine protest in Barcelona on Saturday evening.
The second rally of the day ended with damage to several properties on La Rambla, Plaça Sant Jaume, and other locations.
According to police, the arrests were made for public disorder, property damage, and assaulting officers.

In addition, 19 Mossos officers were treated for minor injuries, according to figures from the Emergency Medical Services.
At the day's first rally, the Mossos arrested one person for property damage.
That march drew around 70,000 participants, according to local police, while organizers claimed up to 300,000 attended.
Second march
The rally at Saturday midday proceeded without incident, ending at Arc de Triomf.
In the afternoon, around 5pm, a second march set off from the same point and ended with clashes between some demonstrators and police.

The second march involved up to 2,000 people according to local police, the Guàrdia Urbana.
On La Rambla, protesters broke windows of restaurants and supermarkets and spray‑painted graffiti calling for a boycott of Israel.
They then moved toward Plaça Catalunya, damaging windows of major stores. There the Mossos intervened, charging and using pepper spray to disperse crowds.
Tarragona and Lleida
In Tarragona, southern Catalonia, around 2,200 people – according to police – marched through the streets on Saturday evening to demand freedom for Palestine.
Participants banged pots and pans and chanted slogans calling for a boycott of Israel, and demanding the release of the Global Sumud Flotilla participants.

Around a thousand people, according to the Mossos d'Esquadra, took to the streets of Lleida, western Catalonia, on Saturday evening in support of the flotilla members and the Palestinian people.
