'All Realities, One Pride' unveiled as Pride Barcelona 2026 theme
Organizers say this year's campaign will highlight the diversity of experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride Barcelona is one of the most important LGBTQIA+ events in southern Europe and this year is focusing on intersectionality.
From June 27 until July 19, running for almost a month, Pride brings together events that combine advocacy, visibility and celebration throughout Barcelona.
On Wednesday, organizers unveiled this year's theme of 'All Realities, One Pride.'
Dani Janke, the campaign's creative director, designed this year's poster and developed its periodic-table-inspired concept.
"It occurred to me as I was reading the descriptions of intersectionality and all the points that reminded me of the formulas in the periodic table, and that's when I realized that people aren't just one identity, but rather a sum of many factors, and that these formulas create unique identities and unique formulas," said Janke.
The presentation unveiled Janke's designs and the image for the protest campaign for this year along with some of the events already planned.
Among the programme highlights are the return of the Pride Village and a screening of Cashing Out at the Urgell Civic Centre, organised by BCN Checkpoint, which explores the reality of the early years of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Also on the schedule is Hablemos de Chuches at Arena Xperience, an artistic and community-focused event that addresses chemsex through personal testimonies, humour and drag performances.
Other activities include the Queers League sports event, organised by Tiresias at the Vila Olímpica Municipal Sports Centre, and a new edition of Vermut Trans, which will be expanded to allow more people to take part.
The programme will also feature short films exploring different experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community.
The celebrations will culminate with the annual Pride march on Saturday, July 18. The route will begin at Plaça Universitat, continue along Gran Via to Tetuan, and proceed down Passeig de Lluís Companys before ending at the Arc de Triomf.
