Some 80 tractors from across Catalonia have demanded freedom for the Catalan jailed leaders outside Lledoners prison, where most of them are incarcerated.

The host organization for the protest was Unió de Pagesos (UP), the main trade union of the agricultural sector in Catalonia.

The vehicles, carrying some 300 farmers according to Unió de Pagesos, formed a big ribbon in solidarity with the nine incarcerated leaders.

The tractors filed outside the penitentiary prison honking their horns, some of them with the 'estelada' pro-independence flag and symbols in favor of the jailed politicians and activists.
