The Socialist’s candidate “dismisses” Junqueras and Puigdemont as bad “policy makers”


The head of the Socialist’s ticket for the December 21 election, Miquel Iceta, has crticized on Sunday the dismissed president and vice-president for having been bad policy makers, saying it is normal for politicans to be dismissed if they do theirr job badly.

“I take the opportunity to heartily dismiss Carles Puigdemont and Oriol Junqueras because they have done their job very badly,” he said at the presentation of support for the Socialist candidate.

“We have to change the direction,"  said Iceta, who has lamented effects such as the transfer of companies outside of Catalonia.

At the presentation he also showed his appreciation of the "courage" of all those who support him. "It is courageous at one point to face it, to take sides. Not everyone does," said the Socialist candidate. He talked about "silence" and "criticism". "It will not be easy," warned the Socialist leader, insisting on the importance of "respect" above all else.
