Alejandra Angulo Alonso is joined by Cillian Shields and Gerard Escaich Folch to talk about the different stages of culture shock and how to deal with it when you first arrive in Catalonia. 

We ask tourists what has been their biggest cultural shock so far and we also talk with a psychology professor from the Univerity of Barcelona to know more about the difficulties of being in unfamiliar environments.

This week's Catalan phrase is ‘Allà on vagis, fes el que vegis fer allí’. A close contender in English would be  “When in Rome do as the Romans do.”
