Soho House to open Barcelona Pool House next year

The internationally renowned members club, Soho House, will open a new site in Barcelona in 2025, as the company announced.

The Barcelona Pool House will be located at the Bernat i Creus tower on Tibidabo avenue, and therefore expanding its presence in Catalonia.

Soho House opened its first building in Spain on Plaça del Duc de Medinaceli square, near the Colombus statue, back in 2016 and a second temporary site in Garraf, south of the Catalan capital, named Little Beach House Barcelona.

While Barcelona's hotel has several facilities aside from the rooms, such as a gym, restaurant, spa, cinema, and a rooftop, Garraf's is more of a summer-focused beach hotel, with a restaurant and some sea activities.

The next adventure will see Soho House opening in 2025 a pool house with a gym, treatment rooms, an 18 meter outdoor pool set within a garden, and also two floors of club space with a bar and a revolving restaurant concept.

The club has around 200,000 members worldwide and offers two membership fees: one with access to all houses across the globe, and a local membership with access to the city of residence.

In this case, Barcelona's new site will be accessible to Every House member, and new ones can register on the company's website.

Built in 1906, the Bernat i Creus tower is located on Tibidabo Avenue 23-25, and was planned by architect Josep Masdeu.

Soho House Madrid

While Barcelona will soon open its third house, Spain's capital, Madrid, will open its first house soon.

Soho House will open its first hotel outside of Barcelona in Madrid's Chueca neighborhood, bringing together two historical and modern buildings connected by a courtyard.

There will be seven floors of members-only space, including a rooftop pool and a gym.

Applications are still not yet open for Madrid's house, and an opening date has not yet been announced.
