Five loggerhead sea turtles released on El Prat beach
Non-profit maritime foundation CRAM has cared for 57 turtles this year

The CRAM maritime foundation has released five loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) on the beach of El Prat de Lobregat, just south of Barcelona, this Sunday.
The non-profit organization has taken care of 57 turtles since the beginning of the year through its Servimar project, responsible for the rescue and recovery of endangered marine species along the Catalan coast.

The turtles named Ortiz, Fotja, Pepe, Adrià, and Carolina were rescued and recovered at the headquarters of the organization.
Volunteers and hundreds of people watched the release of the turtles in an event called the 'Return Home', which CRAM has been organizing for more than 30 years.

The CRAM foundation, dedicated to the conservation and recovery of the marine environment and endangered species, is responsible for providing services for protected marine fauna in Catalonia.
