The third edition of the Catalan Vegan Fest takes place this weekend in Parc Vallparadís in the city of Terrassa.

Saturday and Sunday will see a series of cooking demonstrations, concerts, talks, roundtable discussions, and of course plenty of food to enjoy in both a market as well as prepared food trucks.

18 different brands and restaurants will be serving dishes at the food truck area, including Heura, Legume Chef, Violife, Hanna, Mon Veg, La Taula Verd, La Gloriosa, and others.

Organizers say the event is Europe’s biggest outdoor vegan festival

Admission to the event is completely free.

The Catalan Vegan Association also strive to ensure that the event is environmentally friendly and sustainable, as they feel responsible for the “safeguarding” of the Vallparadís park.

Vallparadís is an “idyllic” setting for such an event, organizers say, home to 30 native species of birds and many other animals such as squirrels, pigeons, parrots, cats, and more.
