Catalan Afterwork invites international residents living in Barcelona to practice Catalan
Session will offer English-speaking residents a relaxed space to speak Catalan, discover language resources and connect with others

International residents who have moved to Barcelona will have an opportunity to practice Catalan and learn more about the language at an upcoming Catalan Afterwork session.
The event, organised in collaboration with the Barcelona Linguistic Normalisation Centre, is designed to help participants engage more closely with Catalan and practice the language in a "relaxed atmosphere."
During the session, participants will learn about resources available to them in order to continue learning Catalan, while also improving their command of the language through interactive and cultural activities. The session will also explore fun facts about the language and the ways in which learning Catalan can contribute to a more authentic experience in Barcelona.
The session will conclude with drinks and a networking opportunity.
The free, in-person session will be held Tuesday, September 22, at 6 p.m. at Sala Emprèn, Glòries Entrepreneurship Centre. The session will be conducted in Catalan and English.
