15,000 lucky people will soon be able to visit Antoni Gaudí's unfinished avant-garde masterpiece, the Sagrada Família, in Barcelona for free over the upcoming La Mercè weekend.

From September 12 to 10 am on 19, anyone interested in touring the basilica can sign up online to participate in the free tickets raffle.

Winners will be given four tickets each to the Sagrada Família's 2022 Open Days on September 23, 24, and 25 coinciding with the Catalan capital's patron saint festivities. 

People can sign up to win tickets for different time slots each of the three days: from 4 pm to 6 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday and Saturday, or from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Sunday. 

The Sagrada Família is one of Barcelona's most popular tourist hotspots, attracting some 4.5 million visitors annually before the pandemic.
