The Sagrada Família has announced its 2025 Christmas programme, running from 30 November to 6 January, with a series of events designed to "give people the chance to connect with Christmas culture and traditions."

The programme includes concerts, workshops, religious services, and a digital installation that highlights the symbolism of Christmas.

The festivities kick off with the illumination of the Nativity, the Adoration of the Shepherds, and the Adoration of the Magi on the Nativity façade, visible every evening from 6:30 pm to 10 pm from November 30 to January 6.

Music will feature prominently, with the traditional Christmas Concert on December 12 performed by the Orchestra and Chorus of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, covering works from Gregorian chants to Bach, Mozart, and traditional carols.

The Sagrada Família will hold a draw to give out 400 tickets for two to this concert. To enter, fill in the form between December 1 at 10 am and December 4 at 9 pm.

Children's choirs will take centre stage on December 19, with 300 singers presenting a festive performance. This year's carolling takes place inside the church, due to public works on Carrer de la Marina, with the singers' families in the audience.

Interactive Christmas workshops for children aged 6 to 12 (sold out) will allow them to explore the Nativity façade, learn about Gaudí's designs, and create their own miniature nativity scenes.

From 22 December to 6 January, in the Glory area inside the Basilica, visitors will get to enjoy a digital Christmas installation inviting people to explore and discover the symbolism-filled details of the Nativity façade designed by Antoni Gaudí.

The final item on the Christmas programme is Midnight Mass at 7pm on December 24, led by Mons. David Abadías, offering a moment of reflection and celebration.
