Rosalía nominated for best Latin song at MTV Awards

Ceremony will take place on September 12 in New York with audience present

Catalan popstar Rosalía has been nominated for best Latin song at the 2021 MTV Awards for ‘Lo vas a olvidar’ (which translates to: ‘You’re going to forget it’), the collaborative work with American singer Billie Eilish.

The song is also part of the soundtrack of an episode of the HBO series ‘Euphoria’. 

The artist from Sant Esteve Sesrovires, a town 30-minutes away from Barcelona, competes for the honour with Bad Bunny, Shakira, J.Balvin, Karol G and Maluma, among other musicians. 

Justin Bieber leads in total nominations for the music awards with 12. 

The award ceremony will take place on September 12 in New York CityThis year, an audience will be able to attend the celebration for the first time since the pandemic began.
