British comedian to present standup comedy show 'Armageddon', tickets on sale from March 31
British comedian Ricky Gervais will perform in Barcelona on August 31.
The multi award-winner will bring his standup comedy show 'Armageddon' to Auditori Fòrum CCIB – the pre-sale will start this Thursday on livenation.es, while general sale will begin the following day, on livenation.es and ticketmaster.es.
Gervais has won three Golden Globes, two Primetime Emmys and seven Baftas throughout his career and hosted the Golden Globe Awards five times, most recently in 2020.
His series 'The Office' has proved one of the most successful comedy shows of the past few decades – other more recent productions include 'SuperNature' and 'After Life'.
Gervais will tour 'Armageddon' around the UK, Europe and North America throughout 2023. Like several of his previous standup shows, it will be recorded for Netflix, with an expected release date in 2024, Gervais confirmed on Twitter.
Away from comedy, Gervais is known as an animal rights activist and fervent atheist.
