Guitar BCN has released its lineup for the 2024 edition.

The music festival, which takes the form of a cycle of concerts in various venues across Barcelona, gets underway on Wednesday evening with a sold-out Stay Homas show in Poble Espanyol, and finishes up with Toto's performance in the same venue in July.

Also announced to perform this year are Malú, Mercedes Cañas, Ismael Serrano, Maria Hein, Marcel i Júlia, Andrea Motis, Leo Rizzi, Carlos Sadness, Elefantes, Els Amics de les Arts, Andrés Calamaro and Kevin Johansen.

These names join the already announced Rozalén, Noa, Mikel Izal, Toto, Xoel López, Coque Malla, Rodrigo Cuevas, El Kanka and Gossos on the lineup.

Speaking to the Catalan News Agency, Judit Llimós, artistic director of Guitar BCN, pointed out that the latest edition of the festival will include more than 40 concerts and has a budget of €1.8 million.

Ten concerts have already sold out, and more than 35,000 tickets have sold already.

Tributes

The festival will pay tribute to the masters of 70s progressive sound, with a spectacular tribute to Pink Floyd (The Australian Pink Floyd Show), Tubular Bells, and the music of Mike Oldfield (Opus One) and Genesis (The Musical Box).

Milladoiro will return to the Palau de la Música with his Celtic folk, while Rodrigo Cuevas will debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu with his new show 'La Romería'.
