Eric Clapton to perform in Barcelona after over 20 years since last concert

The legendary English guitarist and singer-songwriter, Eric Clapton, is returning to Spain after more than 20 years since his last concert in the country. Clapton will perform at Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi on May 10, 2026.

The musician will play twice in Spain, aside from the Catalan capital, he will also perform at Madrid's Movistar Arena a few days before, on May 7.

Tickets, starting at €45, will go on pre-sale on Monday at Live Nation, and will go on general sale on Wednesday at 10:00 am on Live Nation and Ticketmaster's websites, as well as on El Corte Inglés.

Born in 1945 in England's Ripley, he is one of the most influential figures in the history of rock and blues.

Throughout his over six-decade career, he has left a mark that made him one of the living legends of music.

Despite his best-selling single being 'Wonderful Tonight,' with more than four million copies around the world, he is mainly known for 'Layla,' his rock song, which was initially released in 1971.

Throughout his career, he has been awarded more than 18 Grammys, as well as playing with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Elton John, and Sting.

He is the only artist to feature thrice at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, with the bands: The Yardbirds and Cream, and also as a solo artist.
