Crystal Fighters, Pink Martini, and Ben Harper are the headliners of the 2023 edition of the Porta Ferrada music festival in one of the largest towns in Costa Brava, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, from June 30 to August 20.

Wilco and Ludovico Einaudi are in this year's line-up that features not only international artists but also Catalan groups such as La Pegatina, Mishima, and Blaumut.

For the 61st edition of the festival, organizers have planned over 40 different performances, 21 of them from Catalan groups. There will be joint concerts for the first time, with, for example, Rodrigo Cuevas and Baiuca playing on the same night.

While the line-up announcement included international and Catalan artists, organizers still have "five to six" more spectacles under the sleeve, which will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

"Last year's edition was spectacular, and for this year's, we are open to taking new paths," Albert Mallol, festival artistic director, said.

The event organizers hope to surpass last year's 50,000 spectators.

Tickets will go on sale on April 5 at midday.

Just before the music festival, the Salat comedy festival from June 30 to July 2 will take on the stage with artists such as Berto, Oye Polo, Bruno Oro, and Les Luthiers.
