Catalonia's live music industry earned €244 million 2025, according to data from the 2026 Music Yearbook.

It marks a 1% increase on the previous year, 2024, which saw earnings of €242 million.

There were a total of 31,900 concerts throughout 2025, and 23.8 million spectators.

Both of these numbers are significantly higher than the 2024 figures, with 19.2 million spectators (24% less) and 23,400 concerts (8,000 fewer), though revenue only grew by 1%.

This lack of increased revenue is due to rising costs and higher artist fees.

Music festivals in Catalonia continue to be popular, growing 5% in 2025.

The 50 biggest festivals welcomed 1.9 million people. Concert halls, however, lost 4% of their audience in 2025, though they offered 13% more concerts.

90% of the musical industry revenue in Catalonia was generated by live music, the total revenue for the musical industry being €262.2 million.
