Casa Batlló and 'House of the Dragon' collaborate with three monumental stained glass windows
Hand-forged pieces can be visited free until June 22

Coinciding with the premiere of the third season of HBO's 'House of the Dragon' on June 22, Casa Batlló and the series have ignited a dialogue through three monumental stained glass windows installed in the Gaudí building.
Illustrated by Ausias Pérez of TOT Studio and hand-forged by the Catalan master glass craftsman David Gibernau, the pieces have been inspired by the aesthetics of Art Nouveau and Modernism of Gaudí's time, "fusing Mediterranean light with the plot of the fantastic saga."
The three original works are a reflection of the series and the universe of the Targaryen family.
They can be visited from June 19 to 22 at night with groups of a maximum of 140 people with free admission until capacity is reached.
Gibernau commented that it was "an honour to participate in the creation of the stained glass windows inspired by 'House of the Dragon', designed to create a dialogue with such an iconic space as Casa Batlló. The pieces incorporate references to the aesthetic universe of Antoni Gaudí, fusing heritage and fiction in a particularly symbolic encounter on the centenary of his death."
Gary Gautier, general director of Casa Batlló, pointed out that "Gaudí taught us that imagination has no limits or time. More than a century later, Casa Batlló remains a place where great stories find a home and where creativity can take unexpected forms. This collaboration is a beautiful example of this."
