The 2018-2019 season for the iconic Barcelona Liceu opera house theater is to be inaugurated with Vincenzo Bellini's 'I puritani' opera, with a pre-release on October 4 for a younger crowd.

And this, with Liceu's new campaign, called 'Liceu under 35,' which invites anyone under that age to see Bellini's opera and buy any seat in the theater at the set price of €15.

The aim of this project is to "address the audience of the future, to bring the opera genre closer to the new generations, making it more accessible each time," detailed the Liceu Theater this Tuesday.

'I puritani' is largely regarded as a masterpiece in its field, and is the last that the Italian composer wrote before his early death at 33.

Tickets for 'I puritani' are released for sale this Tuesday and can be purchased here
