The transfer of the secular paintings from Sixena to Aragon will not begin next week, because the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) is rescheduling the work.

Aragon's government had set Monday, October 19, as the start date, but the museum said the schedule Aragon proposed was "provisional" and based on an "outdated" plan.

After receiving approval from the Huesca Heritage Commission, the museum said, it is rescheduling the "necessary" work, so the move will not take place next week.

The MNAC said the transfer was already organized last July but was halted at Aragon's request so the government could secure the commission's approval.
