The Catalan writer, Josep Vallverdú, has celebrated its 102th anniversary by delivering the sequel to the stories of the dog named Rovelló, one of the most famous characters and classics of Catalan children's literature.
'El Retorn de Rovelló' (translated as Rovelló's Return) is the sequel to the book that won him the Folch i Torres Award in 1968, one of the most prestigious literature awards in Catalonia. His book has influenced many generations across the territory.
In the new edition, Vallverdú recovers the famous dog in a new set of adventures and mysteries featuring characters and locations from some of his other novels.
