Australian electronic RÜFÜS DU SOL to perform in Barcelona next April
Band to meet with fans on April 24 in first of two concerts in Spain, followed by gig in Madrid

The Australian electronic trio, RÜFÜS DU SOL, will perform in Barcelona on April 24, 2026 at the Palau Sant Jordi, as part of their most ambitious tour across Europe, as announced by the concert promoter, LiveNation, on Wednesday.
The tour will "consolidate the band as one of the most influential in contemporary electronic music," a statement reads.
In addition to Barcelona, the band will also perform a second concert in Spain, this one in Madrid on April 26 at the Movistar Arena.
Outside of Spain, the three Australians will bring their electronic alternative hits to London's The O2 venue, Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, and Paris's Adidas Arena.
At Barcelona and Madrid's concerts, RÜFÜS DU SOL will accompany English singer-songwriter Samuel George Lewis (SG Lewis).
The band will present their latest studio album INHALE/EXHALE after performing at festivals like Coachella, or at the famous Circoloco Ibiza party at DC10 nightclub.
The album was composed amid important personal changes and a "completely renewed creative process." For the band from Sydney, the latest album was "the start of a new era."
The three musicians, Jon George, James Hunt, and Tyrone Lindqvist, worked from different parts of the United States, with two-week intensive gatherings in Austin, Los Angeles, or Ibiza.
Lindqvist said that for this album, the group "preferred warmer and more mature sounds, mixing classic soul, 90s house, and old strings." Meanwhile, Hunt added that they "found new ways of getting to know each other, creatively and personally."
RÜFÜS DU SOL won their first Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for their album 'Alive.'
Tickets start at €60.5 and will go on sale on Thursday, November 6, at 10 am at LiveNation, TicketMaster, and El Corte Inglés. On Tuesday, Santander bank account holders will have a pre-sale, and on Wednesday, LiveNation fans will have a second pre-sale.
