More than 100 acts performed, Sónar+D moved to Llotja de Mar, and Sónar Kids returned to Parc del Fòrum

Sónar 2026 draw to a close on Saturday night, with attendance figures reaching 150,000 fans for the 33rd edition.
This year's electronic music festival was marked by the change of direction, now under the stewardship of by François Jozic, as well as a new location, with the whole festival taking place in Fira Gran Via.
All in all, more than 100 acts performed at Sónar 2026, including major names such as Skepta, Cabaret Voltaire, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, The Prodigy, and Modeselektor, among others.
The attendance figures of 150,000 is lower than last year's record, which saw 161,000 spectators.
Noteworthy this year was the change of location for Sónar+D, the festival's innovation and technology wing, which featured experiments, installations, and talks in Llotja de Mar. The parallel event drew 4,000 attendees and 200 participants from over 20 countries.
Returning this year after a decade of absence was Sónar Kids at Parc del Fòrum, bringing families together with a program of performances, workshops and activities.
