La Segrera train station will serve 50 million passengers annually, Spanish transport minister saysYour browser does not support the video element<p dir="ltr">One of the biggest construction projects in Barcelona is closer to completion. The <a href="../../../../../society-science/item/barcelona-s-la-sagrera-train-station-60-complete">La Sagrera station</a>, near the Besós river, is <strong>60% complete</strong>, as announced by Spanish transport minister Raquel Sánchez on Monday during a visit to the works.</p> <p dir="ltr"><span>So far, €540 million out of the budgeted <strong>€920 million</strong> have been spent on several parts to construct a <strong>hub for trains and transport</strong> in the city. </span>La Sagrera will be home to high-speed trains, commuter trains, metro, and several bus lines.</p> <p dir="ltr"><span>"We will connect the different transport networks: buses, metro, commuter trains, and high-speed in a hub that will serve 50 million annual passengers," Sánchez added. </span></p> / ACNshareACNFirst published: May 23, 2022 07:45 PM
