Ciudadanos MEP: Catalonia is not 'a true democracy' if ruling on Spanish in schools ignored

<p>"We cannot speak of a true democracy when authorities disobey the law," Ciudadanos MEP Jordi Cañas said in reference to the recent ruling that 25% of classes in schools in Catalonia should be taught in Spanish, which Catalan authorities say "changes nothing."</p> <p>According to Cañas, ignoring this ruling is a violation of "the fundamental rights of children."</p> / ACN
