The new restriction will be approved by Wednesday.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>More than 39,000 students in Catalonia are taking the university entrance exams from today until Friday. Delayed one month due to the coronavirus, students are facing the most consequential exams in their lives after almost four months studying at home and amid tight safety measures.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>After fighting on the front lines when the pandemic hit hardest, health workers are now taking the opportunity to protest. In Barcelona, dozens demanded equality among doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals for coronavirus bonus payments. In the city of Lleida, under a new lockdown, hospital workers demanded a permanent increase in staff numbers.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>One of the most popular attractions has returned to the iconic Montserrat mountain just outside Barcelona.&nbsp;</span>The funicular train is back running from today after being closed for renovations for two years.
