The lineup for the second edition of the Talent Arena, an event promoted by the Mobile World Capital Foundation as part of Barcelona's Mobile World Congress (MWC), was released on Tuesday morning.

The event will be led by DJ and entrepreneur Steve Aoki, World Wide Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee, Boston Dynamics AI Institute researcher Kate Darling, and Linux Foundation VP Tim Serewicz.

Taking place from March 2 to 4 at Fira Montjuïc, the event will feature over 200 conferences with leading figures from the sector.

In fact, these talks are one of the main attractions of the initiative, which includes "leaders who have helped change the world," according to GSMA CEO John Hoffman.

The event will also feature new spaces, including the XPRO Zone, offering advanced content aimed at developers and senior tech professionals.

MWC CEO Francesc Fajula said that the event has become a "benchmark in Europe for digital talent" in just two editions.

According to Fajula, the first edition had an extraordinary international impact, attracting over 20,000 visitors from 116 countries.

"The goal is to continue connecting talent with the trends and opportunities that are transforming the sector," he said.

Business deputy mayor Jordi Valls highlighted the "strategic importance" of the event and noted that it has "generated a technological and economic ecosystem in Barcelona."

Authorities also celebrated the collaboration between public institutions in Barcelona, Catalonia, and Spain and private partners. "A collaboration that can change the world," Hoffman added.
