Spain's inflation slightly increases to 2.2% in June
Prices rise after three consecutive months of drops

Inflation in Spain broke its recent three-month downtrend in June and slightly rose by 0.2 percentage points, to 2.2%, based on preliminary data from the country's statistics institute (INE) on Friday.
Prices rose due to higher fuel prices, which dropped during June last year, and also due to slightly higher food and non-alcoholic beverages.
As for the annual rate of underlying inflation, it did not vary compared to final data from May, which stood at 2.2%.
Final data on inflation (IPC) will be published on July 15, when the inflation across Catalonia for June will also be unveiled.
