Jet2Holidays expands operations in Girona airport to fly over 70,000 British tourists in 2024
First time airline to operate for seven months from infrastructure near Costa Brava
The British tour operator, Jet2Holidays, will expand its operations in Girona by 20% during 2024, and will fly over 70,000 British tourists to Costa Brava during the year.
This will also be the first time in its history that the company's airline, Jet2.com, will operate for seven months from the infrastructure in the municipality of Vilobí d'Onyar, near Costa Brava.
The season started at the end of March and will continue until early November.
Jet2Holidays is a package holiday provider that connects the Girona airport with eight destinations in the United Kingdom. This year, the company increased the offers to include family holidays, stays for youngsters, luxury trips, and even sports tourism such as golf or cycling.
The airline flies to London-Stansted, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Newcastle, and Glasgow.
