Grifols has published profits of €227 million between January and June 2026, which is 28.7% more than during the first half of last year, according to the company's information provided to the market regulator, the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Its gross operating profit (EBITDA) stood at €854 million, up 2.4% on the same period last year at constant exchange rates, with a margin of 23.9%.

In parallel, the company's revenues rose 2.6% year-on-year to €3.574 billion during the first half of the year.

The improvement in turnover was driven by Biopharma, which grew 5.4% at constant exchange rates, supported by the "continued momentum" of the immunoglobulin franchise, which grew 12.8%.

In August 2025, the CNMV imposed fines totaling €1.356 million on Grifols and several members of its leadership team over irregularities in financial reporting.

The penalties come in the wake of accusations made by short-seller fund Gotham City Research in January 2024.
