Girona airport boosts UK links with two new routes
Jet2 links Girona-Costa Brava Airport with London Gatwick and Edinburgh

Girona-Costa Brava Airport has strengthened its links with the United Kingdom with the launch of two new routes operated by Jet2, connecting it to London Gatwick and Edinburgh.
The London Gatwick service will operate three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays – while the Edinburgh route will run on Sundays.
With the addition of Gatwick, the airport now offers five direct connections to London, one of its key markets.
The new route also reinforces Jet2's commitment to Girona, where it already operates flights to London Luton and Stansted, as well as other UK destinations.
The Edinburgh connection marks the return of a route to the Scottish capital, previously operated by Ryanair until 2021 and by Jet2 until 2019.
Girona-Costa Brava Airport now has 48 destinations across 15 countries and is operating five new routes this season: Bucharest, Luxembourg, Edinburgh, London Gatwick and Palma.
The airport said the expansion further strengthens its international connectivity, particularly with the UK, Germany, Belgium, Ireland and Poland, and consolidates its role as a key entry point for the wider area.
