Delta to launch direct Barcelona–Seattle route in May 2026

The U.S. airline Delta announced on Wednesday a new nonstop route between Barcelona and Seattle, which is set to begin operations on May 7, 2026.

The route will operate three times a week with the latest-generation Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.

Delta stated that the new route "strengthens transatlantic connectivity" between the two "key markets."

The airline also noted that Barcelona is one of the top 10 most-searched destinations on its website this summer.

With the addition of Seattle, Delta is expanding its offerings from Barcelona, which already include direct flights to Atlanta, New York, and Boston.
