Catalan hotels record best November ever with 1.3 million guests
Overnight stays also hit a record high, reaching almost 2.8 million

Catalan hotels closed November with their best-ever result, welcoming 1.3 million guests, according to Spain's National Institute of Statistics.
This represents a 5% increase compared to the same period last year, driven primarily by foreign visitors, whose numbers grew by nearly 7%.
In fact, foreign visitors accounted for more than 60% of all stays, totaling over 817,000.
Overnight stays also rose by 2.5%, reaching a record nearly 2.8 million.
The average stay in November was 2.13 days, slightly below last year’s 2.18 days.
Occupancy per available room stood at 50.46%, just over one percentage point higher than November last year.
These figures confirm that Catalan hotels have experienced growth for eight consecutive months.
Except for March, all months this year achieved historic records.
By region, Barcelona saw the highest growth, nearly 5%, though all territories reported increases.
