Catalan exports up 2.9% in June, while imports break records
Sales abroad rise 1.3% during first half of 2026, reaching €51.795 billion

Catalonia sold goods abroad worth €9.287 billion in June.
The figure represents an increase of 2.9% compared to the same month last year, according to data updated on Tuesday by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise.
The results mark the second highest level for a month of June ever recorded, only surpassed by the €9.392 billion in June 2023.
At the same time, imports recorded record figures, with a total of €10.678 billion, after an year-on-year increase of 10%.
The comparison between exports and imports gives a negative balance of €1.390 billion in June in Catalonia, a gap that widens by 106% compared to the negative €674.9 million a year ago.
In the calculation for the first half of 2026, Catalonia recorded €51.795 billion in exports, 1.3% more than between January and June of last year, while imports stood at €59.501 billion, an increase of 2.3%.
