Catalan exports reach second-highest figure in historical series, increasing by 3.3%
Sales account for over €25 billion, with Catalonia ranking first as Spain's main exporting region

Catalan exports increased by 3.3% year-on-year during the first quarter compared to the same period last year, according to data from Spain's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business published on Monday.
The exported goods from Catalonia reached the second-highest figure in the historical series, with a total worth €25.05 billion. The only figure higher being the one in 2023 (€26.73 billion).
Catalonia remains Spain's top exporting region. Exports across the nation grew by 2.6% year-on-year in the period from January to March, reaching €95.87 billion.
The figures come in the midst of a "complex" international context marked by the tariff war.
