Catalan exports fall 2.1% in November as US sales slide
Shipments to United States drop nearly 11%, while exports to Asia jump almost 25%

Catalan exports fell 2.1% year on year in November to €8.77 billion, according to data published by Spain's economy ministry on Tuesday.
The figures show that sales to the United States continued to decline, underlining the impact of tariffs on Catalan exporters.
Exports to the US fell 10.9% year on year to €315.8 million, accounting for 3.7% of total overseas sales.
By contrast, exports to Asia jumped 24.6% in November to €911.9 million, partially offsetting weaker demand in the US market.
Imports into Catalonia rose 1.2% in November to €9.51 billion, pushing the trade deficit above €1.05 billion. That compares with a shortfall of €767.3 million in the same month a year earlier.
Across Spain as a whole, exports totalled €32.16 billion in November, down 1.5% from a year earlier. Sales to the United States fell 8% to €1.33 billion.
For the January–November period, Spain's exports rose 0.6% to a record €356.9 billion, the economy ministry said.
In Catalonia, cumulative exports over the first 11 months of the year reached €93.22 billion, up 0.8% from the same period in 2025. The figures point to annual exports exceeding €100 billion for a third consecutive year, with full-year data due to be published on February 19.
